Thomas Otterman was one of the prisoners that the Nazi spies had captured while they were hiding hiding out with Sturmbahnfurher Krabke and Doktor Gerde Ernst in California during 1942. During this time Krabke searched for a test subject to practice his psychic abilities on and he chose Thomas. Krabke began using his powers to torture Thomas slowly, including using telekinesis to drive hot needles under his fingernails and into his teeth. After the torture was finished Krabke chose to put him out of his misery by shooting him in the head but Gerde stopped him and instead used Thomas in an experiment which was a recreation of Dr. Freuhoffer's work, but it ended up failing.
