Tom Easton is the father of Edgar Easton and James Easton and the husband of Suzanne Easton. Tom is a retired police officer and is shown to be a very strict. After Edgar goes through a divorce and temporarily stays back at his family home, his father is shown to be disappointed by this and the fact that his son didn't follow in his footsteps and became a comic book artist instead. During this time Tom doesn't seem to want Edgar around and is constantly asking him when he will move out and get his own place and still treats him like he is a child.
Tom would later convince Edgar to sell a Blade puppet at an auction that belonged to James. This puppet had murdered James many years prior but everyone just assumed that he had died of an accident.
